DESCRIPTION:Fun run to Lake Roosevelt\nAugust 29\n@\n9:00 am\n–\n3:30 pm \nDo you love driving\, socializing\, and good food? Then come join us for a group drive up the Beeline (AZ 87) and back to Globe for lunch at Guayo’s on the Trail on Highway 188 just north of Globe. \n\nPlease use the ‘Register for Event!’ button above. Be sure to include first names for all attendees so we can keep an accurate count and prepare name tags. Wait a minute after clicking once on the Submit button to allow the system time to process your request – you will receive a confirming message and an email. \nIf your plans change let us know as soon as you can so that we have time to fine tune our arrangements. Hint: Try clicking on ‘Already registered?’ to the right of the ‘Register for Event!’ button\, otherwise just send an email to the organizer. \nCheck-in at 9:00 am \nDriver’s Meeting at 9:15 am \nChevron Station \n10180 N Fort McDowell Road \nFort McDowell\, AZ 85264 \n \nThe group will depart\, caravan style\, promptly at 9:30 am and head north toward Payson on AZ 87. We will turn right onto AZ 188 and make a brief pause at Jakes Corner. We will then proceed south to the restaurant which is on the left side before Globe. \nThere will be a drive leader\, as well as a secondary group coordinator\, to keep the group together and help ensure safe travels for our members and the general public. \nRoute to Globe: \nIMPORTANT NOTE: \nOur drives are designed to be fun and safe for the entire family. As such\, we expect all participants to behave in a mature and safe manner. If you want to have a drag race or test the limits of your BMW then please sign up for our next track event and allow professional instructors to assist you in getting the most out of your BMW. Then come join us for a group drive through the Copper Corridor Loop and then a break for lunch at the Guayo’s on the Trail near Globe\, AZ. The restaurant is on the road to Roosevelt Lake.\nCheck-in at 8:30 am: \nDriver’s Meeting at 8:45 am: \nChevron Fuel Station\n3265 S Goldfield Rd\nApache Junction\, AZ 85219 \n \nThe group will depart\, caravan style\, promptly at 9:30 am and head over through the Copper Corridor Loop via AZ-177 with a stop in Winkelman\, AZ for fuel and restroom break at the Speedway gas station where AZ-177 and AZ-77 meet. We will make an additional stop at Pinal Pass for photos. There will be a drive leader\, as well as a secondary group coordinator\, to keep the group together and help ensure safe travels for our members and the general public. \nPlease use the Register for Event button above to reserve your spot for the drive and be sure to include first names for all attendees so we can prepare name tags.
